This is a big update for me, around July of this year (2025) I decided that i was no longer happy with the state of ATOYO, the scope had grown out of control and the mechanics had taken the game in a completely different direction than originally intended.
The 0.2.0 update is a return to the intended version of the game, a tavern that the players live in, that can be decorated as they see fit with the items they own, no more inventory restraints, no more gold requirements, no more popularity, no more feeding NPCs, a simple and straight forward tavern decorating game.
The story now revolves around the "Keyhole Inn" a semi sentient magical construct I had created for my D&D party, whenever a destined hero should arise the keyhole inn will invite them to stay by dropping a key at their feet, this key works on any door, and transports the carrier to the Inn when used, and back to that pervious location.
YOU as the player will (eventually) be that hero, you will step into the keyhole Inn and begin your story of saving people, defeating monsters, and maybe even bring an end to an evil lord or two.
At present his 0.2.0 update is freebuild only, all items currently in the game have been unlocked and can be placed on either 1st or 2nd floor of the tavern, in whatever quantity and configuration you choose, more items will be added monthly as time allows, and story mode is well into it's early testing stages, once a completed storyline has been solidified and found bug free, the mode will be unlocked and the story shall begin.
For now, enjoy free build, and happy decorating.
