Dear Survivors!
This Devlog is all about new reactions, more precise feedback, and changes that make the world react more to what you do. We fixed many bugs in this update, but below you’ll see only the new features and improvements.
What We’ve Done
Player Improvements
Jumping and landing now trigger new sound effects, giving movement more weight and presence. Pee now leaves a visible trail on the ground, making interactions with the environment feel more grounded.
Passenger System
A "Contract Fail" screen now appears when all passengers are kidnapped. This gives players a clearer understanding of mission failure states.
NPC's
Uncle Sam now has a full voiceover, enhancing his character and interactions.
New bandit characters have been added to bandit camps, changing how enemy encounters look.
Bandits now produce a distinct sound, which creates stronger tension.
City pedestrians now make a sound and get scared when the player pees on them, making cities feel more alive.
UI
A new toggle button has been added to the game settings. Players can now toggle the Input Guide in the main UI on or off as they prefer.
Vehicle
Headlights now need a battery to work, showing that the vehicle depends on power.
A handbrake feature has been added. If you get out of the vehicle without using the handbrake, it will roll away, especially on bumpy ground.
Using the wrong wheels for the area you are in now triggers a dashboard warning.
If Plasmolit runs out, the vehicle now shows a clear warning on the screen and makes a sound to let the player know.
