!!! ABOUT UPDATE 1.2.0 AND CAMPAIGN !!!
UPDATE 1.2.0 will be the last Big update for the DEMO and will contain CAMPAIGN (PROLOGUE).

DEMO UPDATE 1.1.9
Shared Controller/Keyboard
You can now play using a shared controller or keyboard!
Simply start a local match and use a single controller (or keyboard/mouse) for both players. Just make sure to pass the controller :)

In shared-controller matches, a “Press Any Key to Continue” prompt now appears between turns to prevent accidental inputs.

Main Menu Updates
The Main Menu has received several improvements.
Battle Types (PVP)
Local Play and Online Play (via Steam Remote Play Together) have been merged to VS. Friends, as both function as local experiences. Tooltips have also been added for better clarity.

Character Selection
The Character Selection screen has been upgraded.
It now includes all commanders planned for the full game, along with quality-of-life improvements such as P1 / P2 / CPU indicators during selection.

Map Selection
The Map Selection screen has been upgraded as well.
Besides the new visuals, we also display the estimated average duration of each map.

Game UI
The overall game UI has also been upgraded.
(UPDATED) Loading Screen
Loading screen has been updated to be seamless transition between the main menu and the battlefield.

(UPDATED) Turn Change
With new visuals and animation!

(UPDATED) Pause Menu
Now displays which player has paused the game. P1 appears on the left, and P2 on the right.

(UPDATED) Specials Logo
Character Specials Logos have been reworked to fit better with the game.

(NEW) Field Guide
Removed the old cheat sheets and replaced them with the Field Guide.
In this menu, you can check all things of the game, like units and their stats, terrains and status effects.

(UPDATED) Winning
Winning now has a new animation, and new dialogues depending on how you won (Destroying all Units, Capturing camps, or if the opponent has given up). (New character portraits will be added in a future update to match their dialogues)

SPECIALS
(NEW) Reiko Updated Special: Velvet Runway

Reiko's special ability has been updated to better reflect her personality.
Velvet Runway allows you to deploy a 3×1 runway on any flat surface (except water) for one turn. Units that move across it have a movement cost of 0, while enemy units moving through it have a cost of 2.
Default Movement | Runway | New Movement Range |
|---|---|---|
|
|
|
And of course, if you fight in the Runway, there's a specific Battle Diorama!

Units
New Names!
Some elemental units have been renamed for clarity:
Frosty-> CryoVenom-> ToxicShocker-> Electro
Venom Toxic has also received a visual update to avoid confusion with other units. These changes should better reflect the unit abilities.

Localization
🇧🇷 Portuguese-Brasil (PT-BR)
A tradução do game in Português-Brasil está de volta! Espero que gostem!

Additional Languages
Additional language support is planned for the 1.2.0 update:
Chinese (Traditional)
Chinese (Simplified)
Japanese
Under evaluation:
Spanish (Latin America)
Spanish (Europe)
French
I'm also considering opening up community localization for additional languages (at least for the demo). If you're interested, keep an eye out for updates or feel free to reach out directly.
