Hello everyone!
As the year comes to an end, I finally have some time to post something here. I'll try to do this more often, but right now, even setting aside time for development is a bit challenging. Game development is tough, it’s a long process... and it comes with uncertain prospects, which makes it mentally demanding too. Sorry, I didn’t come here to complain—I came to share something new!
In the utility room between the store floor and the storage area, I’ve put up a board that will periodically display hints for players. I hope this addition will be helpful.

I’ve started developing a plant-growing system for future processing into natural (though not entirely legal) medicines. Huge thanks to Matthew Ware for the awesome asset (although it did put me over budget by two bottles of cola and a cheeseburger)! The plants will go through several growth phases. Their growth rate will depend on the current level of lighting and soil moisture—plants won’t grow in a dark, dry place.

I’ve built a power system—refrigerators, lighting, and electronic devices will be connected to the grid, and in the event of a power outage, everything will shut down. Some medicines will start to spoil, plants will stop growing, and so on. Oh, and I made refrigerators!

I’ve also started working on the storyline. It seems the game might launch in early access with a plot. But that's not certain yet.

That’s it for now—see you next week (or sooner)!
