It’s been almost a month since the demo closed, and the most frequent question we’ve heard is:
"When is the game actually coming out?"
(And of course, many passionate players have already answered: “Soon!”)
Well, today we can finally say— October 16th is the day we’re serving it up hot for you all!
During the last demo test, we received an overwhelming amount of feedback from you wonderful folks who tried the game.
A huge, heartfelt thank you for your support!!
Here’s what we’ve improved based on your input:
1. Difficulty – Now Fully Customizable
(Because everyone’s playstyle is different—some love a challenge, others just want to loot in peace.)
Since players come from varied gaming backgrounds, perceptions of difficulty vary widely.
So in the full release, we’re introducing: Custom Difficulty Settings!
Adjust enemy HP, player damage taken, item drop rates, and more—tailor your perfect "Duckov" world and scavenge to your heart’s content, quack-quack!
2. New Player Guidance – Smoother First Steps
(No more confusion for newcomers—now even if you’re new to this genre, you’ll get the hang of it fast.)
Previously, players unfamiliar with this type of game sometimes struggled at first.
In the full version, we’ve added a dedicated tutorial area and refined our guidance—so even first-timers can dive into the thrill of "loot, fight, extract" without a hitch.

3. Inventory – More Space, Better Organization
(For all you hoarder-types out there—we heard you loud and clear: "Not enough bags!"
Some players felt the backpack was too small, storage limited, and sorting a hassle.
In the full release, we’re boosting stack limits for more item types, expanding backpack capacity, and increasing carry weight. The warehouse also gets a size upgrade—hoarding just got happier, quack-quack!
Plus: New inventory features like item locking and one-click sorting make looting smoother than ever!
4. Controls – Wheel Scrolling & Side-Button Bindings Added
(Remember those early demo requests? Yep, we delivered back in June.)
The most common control requests (mouse wheel swapping and side-button bindings) were updated way back in June.
5. Black Market – Faster Refreshes, More Drops
(No more waiting forever for the good stuff.)
Late in the demo, many of you complained about the long refresh timers for the black market.
In the full release, we’ve upgraded the system—more refreshes, shorter cooldowns, and better rewards. Now you can farm those rare items like a pro.
6. Multiplayer, Controller & Console Support
(Big ask, but not forgotten.)
Many of you asked about multiplayer, controller support, and console versions.
These aren’t in the initial launch, as Duckov was originally designed for keyboard & mouse. Adapting controllers and consoles requires significant work, and our team is currently focused on polishing new content.
But don’t worry—we’ll seriously evaluate post-launch feasibility. Stay tuned!
7. More Content? Oh, We’ve Got You Covered.
(“Too little to play?” Not anymore. New maps? Weapons? Skills? NPCs? Check, check, and check.)
Some of you said: "Not enough content!"
Well, guess what? The full release has all that—and more.
(Saw something weird and high-tech in the PV? Some very tech-bro looking facilities? We’ll say no more… for now.)
The full version holds even more surprises waiting to be uncovered.
8. Tons of Bug Fixes & Quality-of-Life Upgrades
(We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes.)
Over the past few months, the team has been rigorously playtesting, fine-tuning numbers, and polishing every detail.
Our goal? For you to experience pure, unfiltered fun in Duckov—and for you to genuinely think, “Damn, this is a great game.”
Fun is the #1 priority. Quack-quack-quack!!
