The Story Behind the Outfit - She had fallen into a long dream three times.
The god's child had fallen into a long dream three times.
I.
In the first dream, she dreamed of the moment she was born.
She saw herself open her eyes within the dragon's skeleton. The sky was high and hazy as a dream, with grass stretching upward, and a butterfly fluttering past as it tumbled into the mortal world.
She heard all living things whisper in the wind: Go! Go and dream a brilliant dream. Go, stumbling and fearless, toward destiny!
The god's daughter was still young and had yet to know the soul-crushing weight of fate.
Many years later, she dreamed of that moment again, but gone were the blinding golden light, the frozen solitude, and the noisy golden age that once flowed across her skin.
How she longed to dream more dreams, and to dream of the world the gods once spoke of. It was a place where white sands surged in the sea, flowers bloomed high upon snowy peaks, and distant markets stocked spices and dust...
But she had never seen that world with her own eyes, and so she dreamed only of emptiness.
"Do I regret it?" she asked herself. No, this is the choice a god's daughter must make.
And so, through countless long nights watched only by the moon's low gaze, she experienced a dream of nothingness in the cold, golden reflection, again and again.
II.
In the second dream, she dreamed of a forest.
The earth there was soft and damp, weaving her a cradle for her second birth. The god's child wandered listlessly, even the first agony already forgotten. Up ahead, she heard bright laughter and saw several little Shroomlings hop into sight, watching the frightened girl gently hide her wounds with warm, friendly eyes.
"Come to Spira with us! It has the sweetest Shroomberries and the finest soil. Your wounds will heal in no time!"
"Spira...?"
"Yeah! It's our home!"
Go! Go to the place of understanding and warm embrace, a place of love and chatter, a place we call home.
Her early days in Spira might not have been a dream, but because they were free of worry, they felt warm like one. Her past and her shame slipped from her mind until old wounds flared once more, burning day and night against her pale, fragile heart.
She recalled the path where all souls return, the warmth of the gods' hands brushing past, and that quiet sigh...
So... freedom hadn't come to her this time either...
The god's child prayed night and day, but her prayers were like seeds dropped into a deep well, never to see the daylight that would let them sprout.
How she wished it were all just a dream. How she wished she could dream that same dream forever.
III.
A butterfly drifted past her unfocused vision, just like the one she had seen the moment she first came into the world. It wasn't the same butterfly.
But thinking about it... was it not just the same anyway?
And then, using all the strength she had left, the god's child dreamed her final dream—a dream of a pink-haired girl.
Now, facing this girl with the Heart of Infinity, the god's daughter revealed her identity, her mark—her destiny.
"Please, in my stead, rewrite the faith of this land, for it is twisted and defiled..."
"Please, in my stead, bring an end to the boundless hatred, and complete the final prayer..."
"Please, in my stead..."
It is said that deep within the Terra Alliance, there is a sea where white sands surge, and flowers bloom upon snowy peaks...
It is said that during every dragon's coming-of-age, they are allowed to fly especially high; so high their wings brush against falling stars.
Please, in my stead, go and see it.
Go and see the world I never saw. Go and dream the dreams I never dreamed.
The Inspiration Behind the Design
The core concept behind the "Born Flawless" outfit lies in its expression of "scars." The original imagery of pain and bloodshed is softened, instead transformed into a delicate, sorrowful, and cold design language. Overall, the design seeks to portray a deity both otherworldly and noble. Her garments are an extension of her divine form, the ensemble seamless, as if it came from heaven itself. Yet beneath its pristine, frost-like elegance, a closer look reveals scars rendered with meticulous care. When the deity brushes her hands together, and her hem drifts softly through the air, her aloofness conceals a quiet bewilderment and sorrow. Pain and injury cling to her form, though the world cannot comprehend what they truly signify, and it is precisely this feeling that the outfit is meant to evoke.

The Details in the Design
[Back Design]
The core design of this outfit lies in the Saintess' back. Every detail radiates outward from this visual focal point. The winding patterns across her back are an artistic reinterpretation of scars, a subtle metaphor for the suffering she has endured. Throughout the ensemble, traditional decorative motifs with "crafted" feels are almost completely abandoned. Every flowing line and every curve of ornamentation is derived from scars, each transformed and stylized into a different visual form. Her hairstyle is also meticulously designed. Its long strands are gathered and swept forward, revealing the back of the outfit. Balancing the need for high-star splendor and the need to highlight the outfit's visual core, the design ultimately prioritizes the latter, elevating the scar motif as its defining element. To balance divinity with grandeur, a trailing visual effect reminiscent of a flowing starry sky is incorporated into the back. Its fragmented hem and shimmering effects echo the theme of wounds, harmonizing with the back's overall form.

[Dress: Wandering Souls]
To contrast with the scars on the back, the front of the dress of the "Born Flawless" outfit is designed to present the Saintess in her flawless, immaculate form. Near the hem, artistic scar-inspired cutouts, reminiscent of the back motif, are subtly integrated into the overall form. Lavish details such as shimmering patterns and intricate trims are drawn inward, restrained within the overall structure. This serves the core concept: the Saintess' attire must appear naturally formed, complete, seamless, and wholly innate.

[Hair: Lady of Fate]
The hairstyle presents a cool, pure silhouette from the front, with long, immaculate strands that uphold the Saintess' flawless image. In contrast, the back shifts into shorter, softer, and uneven ends inspired by the feathers of an injured bird. These overlapping layers echo the scar-like patterns along her back, together shaping a beauty that is delicate, vulnerable, and quietly moving. A subtle iridescent sheen, reminiscent of refracted diamond light, has been added to the hair, while select strands incorporate positive and negative Celestial River effects. This treatment enriches the design and gives her an even more mysterious and ethereal allure.

[Headwear: Newborn Condolence]
The crown is one of the pieces in this outfit that features a dual-form design, reflecting the two sides of the Saintess' nature: her flawless divinity and her fractured wounds. In its complete form, the crown appears crystalline and resilient, enveloping the Saintess in a perfect shell of divinity. It symbolizes her immaculate, untouchable nature and serves as a sacred barrier that protects her true self, quietly radiating an aura of inviolable majesty. When it shifts into its broken form, however, the crown scatters into floating fragments, drifting lightly around her like stars of a shattered night sky. This design not only echoes her sorrowful temperament but also uses a soft, poetic motion to convey her fragility and the wounds she carries.

[Backpiece: Cuts of Fate]
The back of the outfit features an expansive trailing hem where the Celestial River swirls and drifts, and the edges shimmer with fractured starlight. When fully unfurled, it extends like a manifestation of divine power—radiant, majestic, and commanding. The back of it can be detached and worn as an independent accessory, and it also offers a dual-form transformation that can be switched at will. This design greatly improves its versatility across various outfit combinations while ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience during exploration.

The Concept Behind the Abilities
The Saintess carries an air of contradiction. She is sharp yet fragile, merciless yet profoundly solitary, and her combat abilities highlight her almost inorganic nature. She is sharp enough to cut through the starry sky, scattering fragments like falling arrows and igniting black holes; yet she is fragile enough to become a fleeting meteor, leaving behind only the fading glow of a dying star.
To reflect the costume's themes of divinity, the cosmos, and celestial bodies, many of her abilities are built around stellar imagery. She can transform into a meteor to shatter restraints or descend from the sky as a falling star. Other skills—such as summoning black holes that draw in enemies or unleashing an ultimate that splits the heavens and reshapes the battlefield—further highlight her godlike command over the stars and the celestial order.

The Story Behind the Outfit - She had offered three prayers.
Legend has it that the Saintess, who lived in seclusion in Itzaland, once wrote this tale in her diary:
It was an age swallowed by darkness. The Dark flooded the kingdom like a tide, mountains lay shrouded in shadow, plague swept the land, and the realm sank into a silence of despair.
The elders selected a maiden. Adorned in a lavish robe of golden thread and a gem-studded crown, she entered the derelict astronomical tower alone—a place where divine beings were said to have once walked.
The people venerated the girl atop the tower, honoring her as the "Divine Maiden."
"Pray, Divine Maiden! With your piety, summon the deities back, drive away the tainted shadows, and bring eternal light to our people!"
Voices of hope rose from below the tower. She knelt before the stone altar, praying day and night. A miracle quietly descended: the cracked earth gradually sprouted green, giant trees branched and leafed, and an emerald forest rose to block the roars of The Dark.
"This is sacred will! The deities have not forsaken us!"
Below the tower, the crowd cheered ecstatically; above, the Divine Maiden allowed a feeble smile to touch her lips.
That night, she faintly heard an ethereal whisper:
"More... Your people need more... Bodies free of illness, health everlasting!"
The groans of her people, suffering in pain, echoed in her ears. Her heart trembled. Moonlight spilled across her chest, illuminating a soul as pure as snow.
She offered her first prayer:
"I offer... My heart."
A chilling cold pierced her chest, devouring half her soul. Dried up along with her cold sweat were all the sorrows and joys of her life. Below, fervent cheers swelled once more, but she could no longer feel any happiness.
On the second night, the godly shadow appeared again:
"More... More... Your kingdom needs more... Halls filled with gold and gems, a prosperity that never ends!"
The voice was almost urging. Lost and confused, she gazed at her reflection in the pool—a face so fair it would make the flowers upon the water blush in shame.
She offered her second prayer:
"I offer... my visage."
A terrible burning engulfed her body. Her smooth skin was instantly etched with scars. The flames were golden, mirroring the sudden surge of billowing wheat fields below the tower and the streams of gold now flowing from the mountains. Amidst this magnificent splendor, she was swallowed by pain and emptiness, curled upon the ground.
Why did she not feel the holy compassion after offering her heart? Why, after surrendering her beauty, was there only endless demand in the darkness?
Was what she received in return for her prayers and sacrifices truly the holy blessing?
She clenched her teeth, swearing with her remaining life to reveal the tower's truth.
The sacred stone altar glowed with a profane crimson light; ancient runes twisted and distorted—they were unmistakably the mark of The Dark. It had been hiding deep within the tower, lurking in the murky currents beneath the altar. Every maiden sent into the tower was destined to become fodder to nourish The Dark.
Did the elders and her people know of this? The Dark's shrill laughter gave her the answer. She was never the Divine Maiden meant to summon the divine beings, but a sacrificial lamb blinded by lies.
If even The Dark could grant a mortal's wish, let it fulfill her final desire.
She offered her last prayer.
The tower collapsed with a roar under violent tremors. Upon the ruins, only a slender figure remained, bathed in dust and firelight, gazing down with icy detachment at the land now utterly corrupted by The Dark.
From that day on, no Divine Maiden was ever to be found in the tower.
The Inspiration Behind the Design
The shackled Divine Maiden is at the core of the design concept for this 5-star outfit. The overall design embraces Maximalism, with a color scheme centered on a hallowed golden hue, accented by a touch of green to balance the intricate details and avoid monotony. Adorned in resplendent, exquisite artificial ornaments, the Divine Maiden shimmers brilliantly, yet feels their weight as they burden her. She yearns for freedom, yet is draped in layers of opulent garments and gems—symbols of glory, but also shackles of bondage. The makeup design further enriches the ensemble, adding a subtle layer of sorrow that deepens the entire look.

The Details in the Design
[Headwear: Starlight Crown]
The design of this headwear draws inspiration from the Byzantine style, incorporating imagery of the Virgin Mary. The result is a Marian crown encrusted with gems and crafted from winding, shimmering metal. Upon closer inspection, the crown itself shimmers with a dazzling iridescence. Extending from the back is a floor-length train seamlessly attached to the headpiece. Unlike previous veil pieces, this train features a layered tulle construction, entirely covered in ornate gold foil patterns and adorned with bead chains inlaid with rubies, creating a voluminous, cascading effect.

[Face Decoration: Solace in Stars]
To further elevate the Divine Maiden's splendor and mystery without obscuring her visage, the face veil is designed as a pearl-strung curtain. Seamlessly connecting to the crown, it echoes the intricate head details to form a dazzling tableau. The pearls cascading from the veil's ends resemble teardrops quietly tracing the Divine Maiden's cheeks, adding a touch of sorrow while echoing the design theme of "gilded confinement."

[Dress: Golden Ode]
The entire dress is built upon a unique and rare yellow-green palette. The green adds a dignified, courtly elegance to the overall silhouette. The shoulders, cuffs, and various parts of the skirt are adorned with intricate lace and embroidery patterns, with every detail meticulously crafted. To achieve a maximalist visual impact, both the fabric and decorations are heavily embellished, featuring intricate handwork. This creates a distinct texture and rich layers, while also giving the dress a sculptural quality and weighty magnificence.

[Bracelet: Wordless Oath]
The metal cage ornament dangling from the wrist is the most direct symbol of "shackles" in this outfit. Its silhouette is delicate yet chilling, swaying with the wrist like exquisite manacles, but the cage itself is empty. This design of intentional void echoes the theme of escape and freedom: even within gilded confinement, the soul has long since slipped its cage.

[Shoes: Golden Yesterday]
In the design of the shoes, the imagery of "shackles" is transformed into opulent gemstone adornments, layering and intertwining around the ankle—a luxurious binding. Particularly noteworthy is the conceptualization of the heel: based on a hollowed structure, a sharp blade is diagonally inserted within it. This pillar of support appears invaded by an external force, evoking a sense of fragility and unease, as if on the verge of collapse. Through artistic refinement, the entire silhouette masterfully blends the allure of "caged splendor" with the danger of "shattered peril."

The Concept Behind the Abilities
The Divine Maiden's ability envisions a moment of "escape from worldly confinement." The heavy pearly strands adorning her swing and shatter, transforming into a grappling hook that soars toward freedom, allowing her to take flight alongside the dragon unleashed from its cage. In the ability's design, aerial flight not only introduces a novel control experience for exploration but also symbolizes "breaking toward freedom," echoing the theme of the Divine Maiden shattering her restraints and breaking her bonds.
Of course, the Divine Maiden does not claim the liberty of flight for herself alone—as the revered center around whom all others gather, her power exists to shelter her companions. Therefore, her Sticky Claw ability allows multiple allies to travel together, and space is reserved for friends even while hovering. The design of the floating platform and aerial grapple points further enhances the unique, majestic beauty of this outfit.
