Hela: of Mice & Magic tells a warm, heartfelt story of a kind witch who has watched over her land for generations. Inspired by the wild beauty of Northern Sweden, her world is a place of lush forests, flower-filled meadows, quiet wetlands, underground burrows and treetop canopies — a living ecosystem where people, animals and plants are all part of the same delicate harmony.
For many years, the Kind Witch has cared for them all, big and small, making sure that the different melodies of this world continue to play together in tune.
But time passes even for witches.
As the years go by, the harmony of the land begins to falter, while the Kind Witch grows older and her strength slowly fades. She can no longer tend to everything and everyone as she once did.
And that is where you come in.
You step into the tiny paws of one of her trusted familiars — a small but agile mouse infused with the witch’s own magic. Though you may be tiny, there is a big world waiting outside her door, filled with creatures to meet, mysteries to uncover, puzzles to solve and small acts of kindness.
Solo or together with your fellow mice, you’ll venture through forests, meadows and wetlands, climb high into the treetops and disappear beneath the earth. You’ll explore open environments from a completely new perspective, experiment with physics and the world around you, and search for those who could use a tiny helping paw.
