Hey Traders,
We’re excited to bring you another update packed with new features, improvements, and fixes! This update focuses on deepening the political and economic systems in Trade Conquest, while also addressing performance and stability. Here’s everything you need to know:
United Europe Movement:
- A new “United Europe Movement” has been added under the “Business” province tab.
- This movement is only available for EU member states and can be accessed in their Capital Province.
- Fund the movement to accelerate its progress toward unifying the EU into a single nation.
- Success requires high support from each member state, which shifts monthly.
New EU Candidate:
Georgia has been added as an EU candidate starting December 14, 2023.
New Social Laws for Continental Europe:
Two new social laws have been added for Continental European nations:
- Become an EU Candidate: Apply for EU membership if your nation is not already a candidate.
- Join a United Europe: Become part of a successful United Europe movement, giving up your Head of State status if applicable.
Note: These additions are not available in the “End of Empires” game mode.
Debt-to-GDP Unrest Consequences:
High debt-to-GDP ratios now have negative unrest consequences:
- 2x GDP: +0.02 Unrest
- 5x GDP: +0.05 Unrest
- 10x GDP+: +0.1 Unrest
Nations with high unrest, high debt, and civil war can now “Collapse”, leading to a government change and the potential loss of provinces to more stable neighbors.
Performance Improvements:
- A slight lighting change has been implemented for better performance.
- The clicking-on-province animation has been removed to improve performance.
- As well as other adjustments in the hopes of more efficient ram use.
Bug Fixes & Balancing:
As always, we’ve addressed several bugs and made balance adjustments to ensure a smoother gameplay experience.
**If you're in the middle of a playthrough and it is going well, do Not update to avoid any issues as this update is not a necessity. This does add to your saves.
