We’ve been quietly working behind the scenes with a small group of testers, gathering insights on how to improve the gameplay experience. One area we focused on was moving animals around, and we’re thrilled to announce two drag modes tailored to different playstyles and preferences! 🎉
1. Standard Drag-and-Drop Mode
This is the classic experience you know and love — click and hold to drag your animals into position and release to drop them.
2. Alternative Drag Mode
In this mode, there’s no need to hold! Simply click to grab an animal, move it wherever you like, and click again to release.
This option is especially handy for players using touchpads — our chef’s recommendation! 👨🍳
You’ll be able to toggle between these two modes seamlessly in the settings menu, so you can find the style that feels perfect for you!
This update will debut in the demo release on December 9th, and we’re so excited for you to try it out. Which mode will you prefer?
