Throughout this period, the team focused on reinforcing the game’s identity as a first-person psychological survival horror experience, deepening its episodic narrative structure, refining FPS survival gameplay balance, optimizing overall progression, and strengthening immersion through sound design, atmosphere, and environmental storytelling. Every decision was made with one clear goal: to push tension, suspense, and psychological pressure to their absolute limits, while remaining faithful to the genre’s roots.
We will be attaching GIFs and images that visually showcase the work done, allowing you to clearly appreciate the updated visuals, environments, gameplay moments, and the overall tone of the current experience.
On behalf of the entire House of Horror: Outside Is Better team, we would like to sincerely thank the horror community for the continuous support, feedback, and encouragement. Your energy and trust are what drive us to keep developing this project with passion, dedication, and ambition.
We wish you all a strong start to 2026 and a very Happy New Year, and we hope you continue to join us on this dark and unsettling journey.
Thank you for being part of it.
