Dear all,
After quite a long break, I'm proud to announce that V1.06f patch has been released.
EDIT: Build ID : 555414
This patch deals with quite a fair amount of issues - some were based on regression errors that were introduced in V1.06e.
Here're the new implementations:
1) NSAU Micro Laser Turret and NSAU Heavy Laser Turret will now gain the ability to MOVE while not being powered. But in exchange, it can't fire (obviously) and its shields will be down. But that shield will be restored to its original amount when charged again. The mechanic is similar to going dormant.
2) Adjustments made to the bloom effect to reduce conflicting graphic information AND over-exposure of explosions that descends into white patches instead of showing the explosion texture. Bloom still exists but at a more subtle level.
Doesn't apply to NSAU Stream Laser Turret!
Default behavior still applies to NSAU Space Dock.
Fixes:
- Fixed a scenegraph issue that causes the game to be slower than usual
- Fixed Mission 24 where conditions to win the game is more focused and clearer.
- Fixed a bug where allied fighters and/or bombers will be launched as a counter-attack against allied ships that attacked itself using direct-hit weapons such as UNC Vulcan Cannons. This is no longer possible.
- Fixed a bug where a NSAU structure powers down and keeps playing the low power sound.
- Fixed a bug where due to a stricter enforcement on ship types, it causes Foresight Introduction ships and some cutscene ships to be skipped during creation. This doesn't crash the game but does cause the game to look a little weird.
- Retaliation code is now optimized on single and multiplayer.
- Fixed a bug where subtitles no longer appear on screen - the translucent letterbox still does but no words will appear.
- Fixed a bug where selecting an enemy ship and then opening the strategic map will cause its flight plans to be revealed.
- Adjusted various widget position and size for both 16:9 and 4:3 resolution UI
- Fixed a bug where a selected item in the list of items doesn't completely cover the entire item. Ie, a request in the fleet panel.
- Fixed a bug where the "Move Officer" cursor isn't anchored center, causing players to mis-click or experience difficulty in picking the desired ship.
- Fixed a small bug where you select a ship and right-click on the same ship causes the "attack" action animation to be played. It should have been the "move" action animation instead.
Conclusion
With all these done, I'll be able to focus on making the AI more aggressive in V1.07 along with stats and achievement collection system. More will come your way folks and thank you for your support!
Regards,
Jeremy
