Foresight will eventually be shifting over to Windows 8.1 as a platform to be used for future builds. Fear not, Windows XP will STILL BE SUPPORTED.
This is because the main build machine is getting too old and too worn out for heavy duty.
While setting up various applications, I did realise that there's a weird problem when it comes to certain applications being opened. The symptom is similar to what some of us has faced.
Ie, the game runs and gradually gets slower until it slows to a crawl. It should be the anti-virus working, however, in my case, I was using CoreTemp to monitor the new machine's CPU temperature and closing it doesn't stop the system from going at 100% CPU. Task manager doesn't show anything as well.
Hopefully, we'll have some answers in the near future in regards to running Foresight on Windows 8.1.
P.S. If anybody has or is still facing a gradual slow to a crawl problem when running Foresight, please feel free to post on the Discussion forums. I'll be definitely respond (unless I'm asleep).
