With great pride, we announce the launch of the 0.2.0 Demo for Gloomy Clues: The Broken Mirror.
Since the beginning of development, our philosophy has been to build this game in collaboration with our community. The new 0.2.0 Demo is the fruit of that philosophy: a polished and refined experience that directly incorporates player ideas and suggestions.
Main Features in Version 0.2.0:
Stress-Free Investigation: Based on player feedback, we have removed the timer to allow for a calmer, more methodical exploration.
Major Visual & UI Polish: We've implemented a cohesive font system, adjusted colors, and redesigned the HUD for a much more professional and immersive experience.
Quality of Life Upgrades: We've added a clearer interactive tutorial (with a skip option), settings now save correctly, and clue notifications are less intrusive.
Under-the-Hood Technical Fixes: We've implemented automatic language detection, fixed localization bugs, and corrected the save path to be robust and Steam Cloud compliant.
