The tile that looks like a cross X is the Shapi Worm Hole Gate.
It behaves, you guessed it, like a worm hole, with a second nearby worm hole gate.
So if you enter it, you exit through another nearby gate.
In this release, worm hole gates can now function while moving. They can transport live shapes (in one shot). They can also transport any other tile that happens to cover the X tile.
This makes for very dynamic levels, as tiles get transported to places that depend on where the moving worm holes go themselves.
