It goes without saying that I enjoyed making Opus Cortex.
It also goes without saying that all of you really enjoyed it as well - 54% of the players completed the game!
And solved all of the puzzles!
Wow, just... I'm speechless! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
While the story of Nono is complete, I've been working on another visual novel game with nonograms, but you'll have to wait a bit longer until I have something ready to share with you.
In the meantime, please enjoy bug fixes and quality of live improvements - main callout based on the feedback from reviews: if you back out of the levels the game will now store the progress you made so far and when you reload the level again you'll have your previous solution handy. I also fixed few bugs that I found in the process related to coming back and forth between levels. There's also now a version number in the bottom left corner in the main menu, so that you can reference it for reporting bugs.
Finally, I read every email and review, and I appreciate hearing back from the players. One thing I do want to challenge you on - if you claim that a level is not solvable or requires guessing - please reach out (email, community hub), and let me or others help you figuring out the next logical move. I guarantee that every single level has only one solution, and that at no point you are required to guess your next move. I'm mentioning that because some of the reviews indicate that this is not true - please share with us where you got stuck!
Thanks and looking forward to sharing more games in the future!
