Hello everyone,
First of all, thank you all very much for the support you’ve given me. Seeing how much you enjoy Retro Rally makes me truly proud and gives me a huge amount of motivation.
Unfortunately, I can’t dedicate all of my time to Retro Rally, as I also work a full-time job to support myself. Even so, I’m doing my best to create the best possible remake of Retro Rally.
I’ve improved the visuals, worked on making the driving mechanics feel much more rally-focused, and spent a lot of time refining the stages. To avoid keeping you waiting too long, I plan to release the update once 10–12 stages are ready. I’ve also made improvements to the co-driver, and I’m continuing to work on making the stages more engaging and higher quality.
After this major update, I plan to add more maps to the game. The focus will be on fewer but higher-quality stages, organized into championships.
For example, a Highwood Championship could include:
3 Finland rallies
2 Greece rallies
3 Turkey rallies
2 Japan rallies
I’m aiming to keep stage times between 1:30 and 2:40 minutes. Initially, I plan to release 2 championships with a total of 10 stages, and I’ll continue adding more stages as time allows. Since I’m working full-time, I can’t dedicate all of my time to development, but I’ll keep improving the game steadily.
Thank you all once again. Your comments genuinely make me very happy. I’ll continue sharing updates here as new stages are added. The GIFs you see here show an example stage from the Finland Rally.
I look forward to your feedback.
Have a great day, everyone.
