Subject: Bibii behavior in response to disturbances in the vital flow
The data collected during recent observations now reveals several correlations between the disruption of the island’s vital flow and the current condition of the Bibiis.
RESEARCH OBSERVATION No. 045 — INITIAL OBSERVATION
The Bibiis have always been present on the island.
They are, however, known for their ability to remain beyond our sight. Their natural behavior, habitat, and habits appear to allow them to conceal themselves with remarkable efficiency.
Since the disruption of the island’s vital flow, this ability appears to have diminished.
Bibiis are now being observed far more frequently.
First hypothesis: this change in behavior may be a direct consequence of the instability of the vital flow.

RESEARCH ANALYSIS No. 046 — STATE OF STASIS
The following observations reveal a more concerning phenomenon.
Bibiis appear to enter a state of stasis when the vital flow becomes unstable.
Their activity decreases.
Their behavior becomes less coherent.
Most importantly, observed individuals appear to show signs of memory loss.
They no longer seem to recognize their surroundings.
Some have been found far from their natural habitat.
Others appear unable to perform the behaviors that previously allowed them to remain hidden.
Observation: stasis appears to affect their physical condition, memory, and behavior simultaneously.

RESEARCH ANALYSIS No. 047 — MEMORY
A question now arises:
What exactly is happening to the Bibiis’ memories?
Observations suggest that they have not simply forgotten events.
They appear to have lost fundamental information concerning their own existence.
Origin.
Habitat.
Familiar landmarks.
Behaviors.
As if part of their memory had been placed in suspension along with them.
Current hypothesis: the disruption of the vital flow prevents Bibiis from accessing part of their memories.
Further research is required.
RESEARCH EXPERIMENT No. 048 — THE RAINBOW FLASH
The Rainbow Flash was designed to manipulate the vital flow.
Its function has already been studied in the laboratory using artificial sources of vital flow.
Principle:
Absorption → Concentration → Projection
A minute quantity of vital flow is absorbed, concentrated, and then projected in the form of specific waves.
These waves have been provisionally designated as Bibii waves.
Until now, their interaction with Bibiis has remained difficult to study.
Then Luna appeared.

RESEARCH OBSERVATION No. 049 — LUNA
The Rainbow Flash has already undergone extensive testing.
Until now, all experiments have been conducted using artificial sources of vital flow*. These tests confirmed the function of the Bibii waves and their ability to trigger a response in Bibiis.*
But the conditions observed with Luna are different.
The amount of vital flow she contains is considerably greater than that available in my previous experiments.
This natural concentration may allow the Rainbow Flash to affect Bibiis with significantly greater intensity. Initial observations appear to support this.
The Bibii waves produce a cognitive shock in Bibiis.
And unlike in previous experiments, the effects observed with Luna appear significant enough to suggest a possibility I had previously considered only theoretical:
Luna’s Rainbow Flash frees the Bibiis from stasis.

RESEARCH EXPERIMENT No. 050 — FREEING THE BIBIIS
The results obtained with Luna now allow me to reconsider the Rainbow Flash from a new perspective.
If Bibii waves can produce a shock powerful enough to reach the Bibiis’ memories, then perhaps they can also be used to gradually restore them.
The Rainbow Flash does not create new memories.
It appears to act on what is already there.
The Bibiis may not be discovering who they are.
They may be remembering.
This observation allows me to formulate a new theory:
If every Bibii can be located and exposed to the Rainbow Flash, it may be possible to completely free them from stasis.
This would be the first step toward allowing them to recover their memories, their natural habitat…
And perhaps their true place within the balance of the island’s vital flow.
Image: Awakened Bibii / several Bibiis
Current theory:
The Rainbow Flash may allow Bibiis to break free from stasis by restoring access to their memories.
Status: To be confirmed.
RESEARCH HYPOTHESIS No. 051 — THE ISLAND’S VITAL FLOW
One final correlation remains to be studied.
The disruption of the vital flow appears to have caused the Bibiis’ stasis.
The awakening of the Bibiis now appears to depend on their exposure to Bibii waves.
It is therefore possible that these two phenomena are connected to the same disturbance in the island’s vital flow.
Hypothesis:
The return of all Bibiis to their natural state may contribute to the restoration of MAFATE’s vital flow.
This hypothesis remains to be verified.
Experiment ongoing.

PROVISIONAL CONCLUSION
The Bibiis have always been here.
We simply forgot how to see them.
And they forgot how to be seen.
The research continues.
