GREETINGS EMPLOYEES
CONCRETE has been updated to Version 1.4.4, read below for the patch notes.
GENERAL
- Added number row / numpad input support for keyboard users when interfacing with an in-game keypad
- Fixed selected number on keypad becoming hidden when holding a button down and moving the mouse outside of the button area. Now it will always stay visible
- Fixed spelling error in employee terminal
- Fixed bug where you could interact and collect a Tape multiple times before it disappeared, adding +1 count to your total each time
- Changed button label "RESET USER" in employee terminal to read "CHANGE USERNAME" to avoid confusion as it what the button might do (previously it implied you might be resetting your save progress, which is not the case)
THE CITY
- Added new way to get achievement "ROCKET JOCKEY"
CLEANSER MINIGAME
- Removed some useless boxes from around the map
- Removed statue from the master bedroom wardrobe
COLLECTOR MINIGAME
- Fixed achievement "DAWN, DUSK, DARK" not triggering when it should have
- Fixed achievement "SMORGASBORD" not triggering when it should have (you still need to open the object stats page in your employee terminal to get this achievement)
VERTIGO MINIGAME
- Fixed achievement "SPEEDRUNNER" not triggering when it should have (broken in last patch when I changed the required time to under 2 minutes, now working as intended)
- Changed achievement "GETTING OVER IT" to trigger when you fall 25 times (was 100 times)
WHAT'S NEXT?
That's it for patch 1.4.4! As far as my testing goes, I believe I have addressed all the major bugs I am aware of. I'm sure I am missing something as this has become quite a large game with lots of moving parts, so please do let me know if you encounter any issues. If any big issues are made known to me I will be sure to work on another patch to fix them, but as for now I am mostly happy with the state of the game (finally!).
I plan to make a little "CONCRETE: Postmortem" at some point in the future, detailing my experience making the game, the issues I faced, and what I learned. A final dev log of sorts (even though I made no previous dev logs). So if you're interested in that, keep an eye out on my YouTube channel (link at the bottom of the post).
Other than that, I think that pretty much covers the final update for CONCRETE. Thanks to everyone for all your feedback and support, it's been super fun to watch new people play the game and let me know what they think. This is only the humble beginning of my game development journey and there are many more exciting things to come. If you're reading this now, thanks for being there at the start.
Cheers!
Benjamin
