Early Access Patch #1 (v0.1.2) primarily addresses an uncommon but severe edge case issue with the Randomizer. It also includes better resolution support and a handful of minor fixes.
If you've reported an issue that hasn't been addressed here, don't worry! I've noted them all down and am actively working on another update that's coming soon (with many more updates to come throughout Early Access!).
Randomizer:
- Fixed an issue with world generation that allowed Overworld points of interest to be placed on top of the Dreskofel 5x5 grid, occasionally resulting in an unreachable town/dungeon and a potential softlock.
- Any randomized runs started after EA v0.1.2 (version displayed at the start screen) will no longer experience this issue.
- Any randomized runs started in EA v.0.1.1 (before the update) could have this issue, but it's very unlikely.
- This update to the randomizer will not affect your current run, and most players should be able to continue and complete their current run with no issues.
- If you experienced this issue in "Chapter 2", please select "Start Chapter" to generate a new seed. If you experienced it in the Randomizer, please start a new Randomizer run.
- A huge thank you to those that reported this issue! This patch ensures it won't happen again.
Various additions/fixes:
- Added 1600x900 and 3840x2160 resolution options
- Unlocking a Talent with no Talent selected will now display a message reminding the player to select their Talents from the Talent Menu.
- Fixed an issue with the "Fervor" ability, which only let it restore MP if MP was less than max health.
- Fixed a display bug issue when using the Regeneration + Energized combo. The player was correctly restoring bonus HP every turn, but the combat log was only reporting the base regeneration value.
- Fixed an issue where the Dreskofel Castle entrance tile would appear on an unrevealed map.
- Corrected various typos
