Hey everyone, another big patch coming in, hopefully this will clean up a lot of the stuff reported so far. Below is a list of everything that's changing:
Bug Fixes
- Exiting the game during game creation won't create corrupted save files now.
- Fixed an issue where the save state year in the load games menu was incorrect.
- Tournament participation is now correctly displayed in team history for past seasons.
- Fixed a scheduling issue some users were facing where they were unable to advance past November 7 in a long-term sim. (This should fix the bug for saves that were previously affected as well as prevent it in new saves).
- Search results and school page coach/staff info now update properly after coach hiring/firings.
- Addressed a bug where play-by-play could show a player fouling out twice and being subbed in twice.
- Games should now properly clear previous game stats, hopefully preventing inaccurate box scores where it says teams score 150+ points (haven't been able to recreate this one, might still be an issue).
- Fixed an issue where changes to the offensive priority rating were incorrectly affecting overall rating calculation.
- Fixed a UI scaling bug with the start menu at 1280x720 resolution.
- Potential fix for articles in the news hub stopping after the 2029 season (unable to fully replicate).
- Potentially fixed all-conference/all-national awards not populating correctly (can't fully replicate).
Improvements
- Adjusted bodyweight for generated players to be more realistic.
- Made reason for leaving UI easier to read.
- Added database error checks to prevent duplicate team abbreviations.
- Custom databases manually placed in the folder now undergo error checks before being loaded.
- Improved shot-taking tendency logic to better reflect real-life positional scoring.
- Adjusted sim stat balance for offensive rebounds, turnovers, fouls, points, and more.
- Improved how game time advances after an offensive rebound to better match real-life pacing.
