What’s New in Version 0.3.1?
🧑🤝🧑 Local Co-op Mode!
Although local co-op is still in an early stage, this version allows two players to join a local or online game using the same device. And there’s much more to come!
How Does Local Co-op Work?
Both players must work together as one, fighting for the same team. True cooperation is essential.
- Player 1: One player manages the market, trade (economy), and card strategies. (It is recommended for this player to use a mouse.)
- Player 2: The other player can use either a keyboard or a controller to focus on territory expansion, resource gathering, and battle strategies.
What’s Planned for Local Co-op in the Future?
- Many more features will be added to enhance local co-op.
- Two different teams will be playable on the same device.
- The UI will be updated accordingly.
- Full controller support will be implemented.
Other Additions, Improvements, and Bug Fixes
- Controller/Gamepad support added. (Not fully supported yet, but local co-op is playable.)
- "Remote Play Together" added. Even if your friend isn’t physically with you, you can still experience local co-op through this feature.
- Three different map sizes added.
- The issue of starting the game surrounded by mountains or seas has been removed. The starting phase is now more open and free.
- AI opponents have been improved. They now start more spread out across the map. (Difficulty has slightly increased and will continue to be balanced.)
- Issues related to volcanic eruptions have been fixed.
- The "Shortcuts" panel has been updated and is now called "Controls."
*Edit: A major problem at the beginning of the online game has been fixed with v0.3.1. Please make sure your version is up to date for the best experience.
