Hi, dear BIG LOOTERS!
Over the past months, I’ve been working hard on this update, reviewing your feedback and replying on Discord - thank you for all the suggestions.
I’ve fixed a lot already, and even more is queued up on my task boards.
Now it’s time for the BIG UPDATE 0.3.0: the new Big City, a house area you can buy and restore, new items, workbenches with no‑tool crafting recipes, item repairs, and many more improvements.
BIG CITY
The Big City now appears once every few adventures. The entire adventure path is displayed in the adventure picker window, helping you plan your journey more effectively.
Inside this city, you can now find a house area that you can purchase and start restoring as your own place.
In future updates, the Big City will include even more exclusive activities you won’t find in small towns.
HOUSE AREA & WORKBENCHES
After purchasing your property, you’ll be able to upgrade your house and restore various buildings, including workbenches.
Workbenches now let you craft new items with no‑tool recipes and repair your equipment.
Each interaction with a workbench reduces its durability, but you can repair it with a silver toolkit - which makes silver more valuable now.
New buildings in the house area:
Armor workbench - craft and repair iron and bear sets here. The epic set has been moved from the player menu to this workbench.
Weapon workbench - craft and repair iron weapons.
Caravan workbench - craft and repair all modules, except the log wheel and the stick cart.
Universal workbench - craft various items here with no tools required.
Storage - holds up to 49 slots (for now). You’ll need to upgrade it to reach the max level.
In addition to the new buildings in your house area, garbage will occasionally spawn on your property. Clear it with the special item to earn a good amount of XP!
MINING IMPROVEMENTS
Resource gathering is a big part of the game, so here are a few improvements to make it smoother and more fun.
Mining now has a chance to drop shiny stones:
Iron ore can yield one green shiny stone
Gold and silver ores can yield up to two blue or purple shiny stones
Also, you can now hold the Left Mouse Button instead of clicking repeatedly when gathering resources with a pickaxe, an axe, or your hands.
OTHER CHANGES & IMPROVEMENTS
Some items are now stackable (hammer, handsaw, leathercraft knife, toolkit, white bread)
Stacks now have a maximum size of 20 items
You can’t drop a stack on the ground if it weighs more than 90.0
Added a button to delete save slots
Keys, coins, and scrolls were removed from items that can be requested in the Trade Company
Fixed the bug with the golden underwear
Added new items
Some crafting recipes were moved from the player menu to workbenches
Added Belarusian and Ukrainian languages
WHAT’S NEXT?
Creating the Big City took a lot of time since it introduced many new mechanics, so different small towns will come in the next big update - 0.4.0.
Planned features for 0.4.0:
Multiple small cities with unique activities
Redesigned adventure picking window with more biome information (ores, exclusive items, elite mob chances, etc.)
Biomes will have different sizes (including small ones for the first adventure levels), and each adventure card will show the size
New activities, items, and crafting recipes
Results screen after adventures
Balance updates to several items, including leather armor
I never get tired of saying a BIG thank you to all players! Thank you for buying, reviewing, and supporting BIG LOOT.
You make this journey possible ❤️
