There's less than a week left until the new season update. The reason we haven't released any Developer Notes recently is mainly due to some internal team changes. As a small team, personnel changes always have a significant impact on us. As a result, certain activities, such as voting events, have been affected and delayed. However, please trust that we will adjust as quickly as possible, striving to make Skill Legends Royale a game that everyone will enjoy playing for a long time. We are continuously working toward this goal. Starting from the next new season, we will officially extend the duration of a season from one month to two months. To make the "OVERKING" rank more prestigious, we have also appropriately increased the difficulty of reaching it. However, with the extended season, we do not want players who aim for higher ranks to feel the pressure of "having to play more matches every day to rank up." Therefore, we are introducing a ​Seasonal Rank Inheritance system: players who reach the DIAMOND rank or above in the current season will inherit a certain rank at the start of the next season, so they won't have to start completely from scratch. With this inheritance, the average number of matches required per month to reach the highest rank will actually be lower than before. Another important reason for extending the season duration is that we hope to deliver more exciting seasonal update content while improving the quality of the versions and minimizing game bugs (for example, the issue with the FOREST RANGER causing game freezes this season has caused a lot of trouble for everyone). Currently, for a small team like ours, one month to prepare for a season seems a bit too tight, often leaving us rushed and scrambling before and after updates. It took us a considerable amount of time to identify the cause of the Forest Ranger bug just recently, and we will fix it as soon as possible, synchronizing the update with the new season. Here's a little sneak peek: for the new season, we are boldly adding a mysterious mechanic, temporarily called "Golden Flash". The introduction of this mechanic will bring entirely new changes and strategic possibilities to the game. We hope the new season will bring you unexpected surprises.
