[Development Update] New Cinematic Control System for Animations Coming Soon!
Hey everyone! 👋
We wanted to share a sneak peek at something we've been cooking up based on your feedback - a new multi-scene animation control system that we're implementing for more complex cinematic sequences!
How It Works: As you can see in the preview, this new system allows for seamless navigation through multi-camera angles and different character poses within the same animation sequence. The progression system works like this:
✅ Scenes 1-3: Viewed and unlocked (available for replay)
▶️ Scene 4: Currently viewing
🔓 Scene 5: Unlocked but not yet viewed (new content ready!)
🔒 Scene 6: Locked (requires progression)
This gives you more control over your viewing experience while maintaining the sense of discovery and progression that's core to the game.

🆕 NEW IN TODAY'S UPDATE - Animation Pacing Control! We've just introduced a new Pacing control feature to ensure you never miss animations again! You can now choose between:
Full (0s) - No delay
Quick (1.5s) - Default setting
Cinematic (3.5s) - Recommended for best experience!
Minimum (6s) - Maximum delay between animations
You can find this in the Settings menu under the Pacing section. While Quick is enabled by default, we recommend trying the Cinematic pacing for the intended experience. We've also increased the font size of all settings labels for better readability!
Quality Updates: In our commitment to delivering the best experience possible:
We've removed 4 animations (including some car and zoom sequences) that weren't meeting our quality standards
Currently reworking 5 animations to fix eye tracking inconsistencies and improve overall quality
These animation fixes will be patched in within the next few days to a week! 🔧
Your feedback has been invaluable in helping us identify these issues! 🙏
When Can You Expect This?
Pacing Control: Available NOW in today's update!
Animation fixes: Coming in the next few days to a week
New cinematic control system: Rolling out around Episode 2 or potentially a bit earlier if testing goes smoothly
What do you think about this new approach to cinematic sequences? Would you like more granular control over multi-scene animations? Let us know in the comments below!
Thanks for your continued support and patience as we polish these features!
