Hey everyone, This is our first devlog. We will be sharing our progress every week! Stay tuned for more.
Development is going great and we have finished a couple of mechanics that will be seen through out the whole game.
We have finished Level 37 - The Poolrooms and actively working on the remaining levels! Liminalcore will be multiple backroom levels experience.
New Mechanics
VHS Camera Filter
We've added an option in the menu that allows players to toggle the VHS camera filter on or off, giving them the freedom to customize their experience according to their preferences.
Water Interaction System
As the game begins at Level 37 - Poolrooms, our primary focus was to create an immersive and realistic water experience.
Slide Mechanic
And of course, a poolroom experience wouldn’t be complete without slides.
Bug Fixes
- Adjusted Stair Collision to act as a ramp to remove camera jitter while walking up
- Adjusted Collision of walls and floors to avoid falling through the map at some places.
- Adjusted Lumen settings to remove weird flickering.
- Fixed Ambience Volumes to better fade between two different ambiences.
- Added Footstep Sound based on surface.
