In the upcoming version, the Oil Rivalry League will be renamed the Energy League and will undergo a complete overhaul. Like the previous version, there will be two camps: Oil countries and Green countries—each camp will use a three-division system, with 10 teams per division.
The updated event will also introduce a very new format - after the regular season, the top three teams from each camp will enter a championship round-robin playoff. Each team will carry over half of their points —similar to the Belgian Pro League format.
