Hey players! We’ve been listening, tuning, and polishing—today's patch brings some spicy enhancements, quality-of-life improvements, and just a hint of NPC-generated chaos. Here's what's new in this build:
🆚 Versus Screen Improvements
Overhauled UI layout and transitions for all versus encounters.
Enhanced visual clarity with improved animations.
Prep for battle with flair—your rival deserves the spotlight too.
💬 NPC Smacktalk System
NPCs now engage in contextual trash talk on the worldmap and random encounters.
Expect sass, unsolicited advice, and rude commentary based on your general existence, choices, or recent failures. You’ve been warned.
🎧 Sound & UI Enhancements
Rebalanced sound FX across combat, menus, and ambient zones.
Fine-tuned UI audio cues for smoother interaction.
New Feature: Main Menu now includes a Music Mute Button—silence the theme song without losing your pride.
📅 Event System Introduced (Demo Version)
Implemented an annual cycle of 12 major events that shake up gameplay, introduce unique mechanics, and spotlight special characters.
Demo includes 2 playable events for early access participants. Each features exclusive drops and storyline content.
🕒 Day Counter Mechanic Added
In-game day tracking now affects item drops, NPC behavior, event frequency, and more.
Some days bring rare loot, some invite abuse from NPCs, others are weirdly quiet. It’s all part of the cycle.
🔥 World Map Opened Up
We decided to remove the majority of the solid UI from the screen in place of seeing a lot more of the map.
Enables you to see some events as they happen on the world map, should you be lucky.
It's also just nicer to look at.
