It’s been an exciting year for us here at Smash Attack Studios especially with Nullstar: Solus and today on the launch of our Kickstarter we are super excited to announce that we are officially teaming up with indie.io (formerly Freedom Games) as the publisher for Nullstar: Solus!
Who is indie.io and why?
indie.io is a dedicated indie publisher whose goal is to get indie games into as many eyes and hands as possible. From helping manage and create our store pages to working alongside us to create campaigns, they'll be instrumental in helping us reach markets we just can’t by ourselves. We decided to go with indie.io because ever since we got the game in their hands, they've understood exactly what we as a studio were trying to do with it. Since signing with them we've already seen some great outreach and engagement, and we're looking forward to moving towards release in an exciting 2025 with them!
What does this mean for Nullstar?
Nothing changes! Another big pull for us when looking at publishers was IP and creative ownership and the team at indie.io aligned with us perfectly for what we wanted to achieve. Nullstar will continue to be developed, we have our Kickstarter alongside us to help and you can always follow us on our socials and join our discord to be kept in the loop.
