FAQ: Registration and CBT Details
About CBT:
Q1: Is there any difference between playing on Steam versus the official website launcher?
No, none at all! The game content, features, and servers are identical. All CBT players can play together in the same ecosystem, regardless of which launcher they use. The only difference is the platform you use to log in and update the game.
Q2: How can I check if my PC is able to run the Closed Beta Test?
There are a couple of easy ways to check your PC's readiness:
Manual Check: Please review the Minimum and Recommended Specs in the "PC System Requirements" section above and compare them to your own computer's hardware. You must meet the minimum requirements to participate.
Automated Check on Discord: For a quick verification, please join our official Discord server and head to the #spec-check channel. Inside, you will find a simple tool and instructions on how to automatically check if your system is ready for the CBT.
What if I meet the specs but still have problems? If your PC meets the requirements but you still encounter technical issues (like crashing, freezing, or poor performance) during the test, please report it to us! The best place to do this is in the #bug-reports channel on our Discord. Providing details will help us fix the issue as quickly as possible.
Q3: Will my progress from the CBT carry over to the full release?
No, all player data and progress will be completely wiped at the end of the test.
Important Notes
Bug Feedback: Please remember that this is an early development build for the CBT. As such, you may encounter bugs, performance issues, or other instabilities. If you run into any problems during your gameplay, we strongly encourage you to report them! The best place for this is our official Discord server in the #bug-reports channel. Providing detailed information helps us fix issues much faster.
A Note on Matchmaking Because this is a limited-capacity test, you may experience longer than usual queue times, especially during off-peak hours. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we test our systems.
That covers the main information and frequently asked questions for the Fate Trigger PC Closed Beta Test. We encourage all Awakeners to follow our official social media channels to stay up-to-date with the latest news and announcements.
Thank you for your support, and we can't wait to see you in the game!
