We're thrilled to see so many people playing and enjoying the demo! Watching videos of playthroughs and reading your feedback and comments has been a blast!
And we've been listening to your requests. That's why today, we updated the demo with support for 7 additional languages, improved performance, as well as several quality of life improvements.
The new languages are (in no particular order):
- Japanese
- German
- Portuguese
- Russian
- French
- Spanish
- Chinese (simplified)
As a small 2-person team, we don't have the resources to get the translations perfect on the first try. But we wanted to prioritise adding these languages for you as soon as possible. If you do encounter any translation errors, we've created a thread in the community hub here on Steam where you can post any translation improvements you may have!
And as a second part to this update, we've also added several quality of life improvements, as per your feedback. These updates revolve mostly around improved performance and clearer signposting for important gameplay elements. Below is a list of the most important changes:
- Added Low, Medium, and High graphics quality settings
- Added Vsync option to the settings
- Unlocked the game's aspect ratio to run on all monitors, including widescreen
- Improved visibility of the ammo at the start of the game
- Improved visibility of the flashlight item pickup
- Improved colour balancing, so that dark areas are truly dark
