The demo is updates once again! I received some more feedback from some friends on discord, and I've incorporated it into this release ^^
Here are the patch notes:
- Fixed a bug where pausing the game or entering/exiting an enemy encounter on the overworld would cause the camera to zoom in on the top-left corner of the game's viewport while in full-screen mode.
- Added a temporary prompt in the bottom-right of the game window so the player knows they can skip a cutscene. The message appears for a few seconds, then fades out.
- The Options->Preferences menu now has a "Skip all cutscenes" option. When toggled, cutscene sequences will automatically be skipped, and a brief message will show on the overworld that summarizes the events so the player is still given context without taking their time from the game away.
- A few enemies have had the amount of EXP they give slightly increased.
As before, to get the update, you may need to restart Steam. Once the download of the update and install are complete, confirm your version with either the titlebar of the game window, or the version number in the bottom-left corner of the titlescreen:
I believe that's it.
As always, thanks for playing, enjoy the update, and let me know your thoughts or concerns if you have any to share ^^
