Many drones produced by Drone Pods had low mobility and were very difficult to use. This update generally improves drone mobility overall while fixing several bugs in the drone AI that were hindering their movement. These changes should greatly improve the practicality of Drone Pods.
Improvements have also been made to the CAT Builder and wireframe rendering in detected invisible squares.
New Features
- 🐈Modules can now be manufactured directly in the CAT Builder.
- 🐈Added 12 new specialized drone types for Drone Pods, separate from the small CATs that are usually placed. (Some other drones are still placed normally.)
Other Modifications
- 🐈Improved on/off control of drives for drone AI that follows the parent CAT's movements.
- 🐈Reduced the overall data size of Drone Pods.
- 🐈Increased the variety of wireframe images to make it easier to recognize object types in invisible detected squares.
- The information obtained using Structural Scan has been divided into stages, and it now requires three scans to obtain complete terrain information. (Energy cost per scan is halved.)
- Added a tooltip text that tells the time until Instant Wall O activates.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed: Excessive CPU load can occur when CATs with high movement become stuck.
- Fixed: AI pathfinding range can sometimes become too small.
- 🐈Fixed: During a convoy mission, an escorted CAT may stop moving toward its goal.
- Fixed: Carrier upgrade Cost Down -10% does not lower the cost of Retreat command.
