Greetings, bushcrafters!
This patch mainly focuses on Quality of Life improvements and fixing bugs.
If you've been enjoying the game, please consider leaving a Steam review. It helps more than you think and the best way to support a solo project like this!
Quality of life:
Added a map setting to retain your previous map position/focus when opened. This can be toggled on/off in the menu.
Player’s campfires are now visible on the map.
Added 1280x800 resolution support for Steam Deck (16:10 display ratio). Note: Saved resolution has been reset to DEFAULT. Please re-assign your preferred resolution in the settings.
Combining and modifying ingredients now works across all inventory types (previously limited to main/bag inventories), except for fire heating slots.
Foundation marker’s previewer size has been increased from 25 to 81 slots.
Other Updates & Fixes:
New: Added L-shape and 2x2 house templates.
Update: Misc text updates and UI tweaks.
Codex: Updated Codex information.
Fixed bug: Item inventory image's plus symbol overlapped with the frozen icon in the corner.
Fixed bug: Items thawing next to a fire were not calculating time based on game time.
Fixed bug: The freezing mechanism was incorrectly applying frozen icons to non-freezable items. Now only food, water pots, and bait items should freeze during winter.
Fixed bug: Frozen water pots were not loading correctly if saved while frozen.
Fixed bug: Fixed a rare issue where a previous tea or soup texture appeared in a water pot after freezing.
Fixed bug: Fixed a texture glitch with frozen dried birch trunks.
Fixed bug: Fixed an issue where picking up an item with a full inventory and auto-equip disabled caused a double-item glitch in the right hand.
Fixed bug: The travois inventory incorrectly showed an "add" pointer when started to move any nearby pile. It now only appears for valid travois items.
Fixed: Fixed a stacked audio bug when a falling tree hit a stump or similar object.
Fixed: Fixed small visual glitches during the game ending cutscene.
Other minor bug fixes.
Thank you for your support, and happy surviving!
