Dear Pilots,
We've made some changes to our special discount for Rise of Flight pilots who purchase Flying Circus. We have chosen to give ALL ROF users who supported us throughout our existence an additional discount. We underestimated the demand for this special discount and we didn't want to offend our most ardent supporters from well before ROF was listed on STEAM and our merger with 1CGS. We also could not easily calculate support levels from STEAM users. We have finally found a way to do that, so everyone who has paid any money for ROF content can get a special discount on top of the regular Early Access discount.
First, everyone who orders during the Early Access period gets a $10 discount off regular MSRP no matter what. Second, if you are an existing ROF customer and meet certain criteria you qualify for an additional discount. The criteria are as follows.
Anyone who purchased content for ROF between its launch in 2009 to July 25, 2018 from our website, STEAM or a boxed or digital copy from an official retail partners during that time frame will receive an additional discount for a limited time.
• If you spent between $0.01 and $70.99 on ROF content you will receive an additional $5 OFF.
• If you spent between $71.00 and $200.99 on ROF content you will receive an additional $10 OFF.
• If you spent greater than $201.00 on ROF content you will receive an additional $15 OFF.
The special discount period ends September 14, 2018.
Flying Circus Early Access can be ordered HERE.
Additionally, ALL ROF users that have made any purchase of ROF content at any time over the years, we have placed an additional promo code for 25% OFF your next order from the IL-2 store in your ROF profile. Some ROF pilots have not had the chance to experience IL-2 yet so this is a great opportunity to give it a go! Sorry, but the code cannot be applied to FC, TC or BoBP.
Finally, some have already ordered Flying Circus and are already enjoying Early Access, but do not have a ROF account. So as a thank you, we have placed an additional promo code for 25% OFF your next order from the IL-2 store in your IL-2 profile. Sorry, but the code cannot be applied to FC, TC or BoBP.
To get your special discount you’ll need to access your ROF user account on the ROF website (all ROF users created a ROF User Account during install) and retrieve a promo code we have placed in your user profile. Then return to the IL-2 website and place your order for Flying Circus. Enter your discount code at check out. The additional discount will be reflected in the final amount.
NOTE: We no longer swap website keys for STEAM keys, so if you wish to own Flying Circus or any other IL-2 product solely on STEAM you will need to wait for the STEAM release at a later date. We do not know at this time if there will be launch discounts for FC, TC or BOBP on STEAM nor do we know the exact release date for these products on STEAM. However, if you buy one of these products on our website today you are welcome to link your STEAM account (assuming you own IL-2 on STEAM) with your IL-2 website account and play with this new content through your IL-2 STEAM install. For more information on our STEAM Linkage process please read our guide found HERE.
Sincerely,
The Sturmovik Team
