I'm thrilled to announce the launch of the Captain's Log Update – a set of new tools designed to help you master the vastness of space and keep track of your favourite locations.
What's New?
Bookmark Your Universe (Press 'B' in a System):
Stumbled upon a breathtaking solar system? A place that feels like home? Press 'B' while you're within a solar system to add its coordinates and name to your Captain's Log.
Your Personal Captain's Journal (Press 'J'):
The galaxy is vast, but your memory doesn't have to be! The new in-game Journal allows you to keep a running list of your most important system discoveries.
Instantaneous Return Jumps:
Open your Journal ('J'), select a previously bookmarked system from your scrollable list, and with a single click, you'll be instantly transported to the outskirts of that system, perfectly positioned and facing the star. Your movement will be set to zero upon arrival, giving you full control.
In-Game Update Notes:
I've added a handy "What's New?" panel accessible from the main interface so you can always catch up on the latest features.
Fixes & Polish:
Fixed an issue where player movement could get stuck in a locked state after repeatedly opening and closing UI panels. Player controls should now be much more consistent.
Improved UI panel interactions for a smoother experience.
Chart it, mark it, and navigate it with ease.
Thanks for playing!
