Hey everyone!
Following our Day-1 hotfix (v1.0.1), we are back with our first patch update: Patch 1.0.2!
We noticed higher than expected refund rates on launch day, mainly caused by onboarding and UI confusion. We took immediate action to analyze player videos, reviews, and survey feedback to address these pain points directly.
Here is what’s new in v1.0.2:
Shorter Tutorial & Visual Hints: We trimmed the onboarding process to get you into the fun faster. Directional arrows now guide you when interacting with key tools like the fishing rod and pickaxe.
Lobby Player Status Bar: A brand-new UI element shows what every player in the session is currently doing (e.g., In Tutorial, Voted, Not Voted).
Newspaper Voting Visuals: Players who voted now have their profile pictures displayed directly on the Newspaper mesh, making it obvious who still needs to interact with it.
Clearer Job Selection Rules: The Newspaper screen now explicitly highlights that only the Host holds the voting power to select maps and start the level.
Gameplay & Balance Tweaks: Various mechanics and difficulty curves have been refined for a smoother co-op experience.
Thank you all for sharing your feedback and helping us make Chop Chop Together better! Keep the feedback coming!
