FireStarter 2 is out!
Why FireStarter 2?
Three years ago, I released FireStarter, a small and simple forest fire simulation game with little to no ambition, made with a friend of mine during a week-long game jam.

As the game was appreciated by our players, I wanted to offer more. Wildfires are getting more and more concerning as Climate change rages on and too few people care about that until they are directly concerned. About 9 out 10 wildfire is of human cause. We're all responsible
This is why I bring to you FireStarter 2, a simplified forest fire simulation game in which all features of FireStarter have been reworked and improved for a more realistic weather and fire behavior and a much better experience.

What to Expect?
In FireStarter 2, an autonomous weather and seasonal cycle can now simulate natural fires and plant growth on its own.

You can chose to stay back and observe or play with the many tools in your hands to influence nature development and shape the landscape, such as wind speed and direction control, cloud creation, or even starting your own fires out of nowhere.

A game session should last about 15 minutes, from burning an entire forest to getting it to grow back again, but the game cycle itself is endless and you're to burn again and again and watch nature fight back again and again.
Of course, I am doing prevention and education here and I strongly believe that this kind of resource should be free and accessible to everyone, and so is FireStarter 2!
I hope you'll enjoy FireStarter 2 as much as I loved creating it.
