Hello there,
Ok, so this is a pretty big vibes patch for Hexagod. The main change? The game is now turn-based. I think this will cut down on the micro-management around timing. It felt like people were already playing it that by essentially waiting for a villager to be free, pausing the game, making a decision, and then unpausing.
In my head, moving to turn-based just removes some of the annoying parts of the old system. BUT I really need to know what you think. Is this a good change? A bad one? I’m here for all your feedback, even if it’s to tell me I messed up. If that's the case I can keep cooking or revert to the pauseable real-time gameplay.
The other big update is a huge quality-of-life improvement: tile groups can now be placed more dynamically. This should make expanding your world feel a lot smoother and (hopefully) more fun!
I go into more detail in a devlog, which you can check out here:

As always, thanks for playing and helping me make this game better!
Cheers,
Aarimous
