Alpha Demo Update v.0.5.0 Now Live!
Greetings adventurers!
We’ve just pushed a fresh update to the Alpha Demo of To The Grave: The Wildlands of Faenora, bringing more engaging tactical goodness your way and laying the groundwork for bigger things on the horizon.
New Features
Turn Order Indicator
Stay one step ahead! You can now see the turn order in battle - vital for mastering the tactical flow and planning your squad’s next moves.
Enemy Attack Animations
Battles now come alive with new enemy attack animations for a more pulse-pounding, pixel-perfect RPG feel.
Redemption Codes
Got a code from our Substack or X page? You can now redeem in-game loot and cosmetics using reward codes - keep an eye out for more!
Setting the Stage...
Systems are being slotted into place for item retention and recruit permanence, but how it all plays out? That remains a mystery... for now.
What’s Next? Early Access Is On the Way!
We're hard at work on the Early Access build, and it's shaping up to be a generational leap beyond what's shown in the alpha demo. Here’s what’s in the pipeline:
Full Chapter 1 Story — Dive deeper into the mystery of the Wildlands and your unlikely hero’s journey.
Completely Redesigned UI — Cleaner, crisper, and smoother than ever, while still keeping that nostalgic pixel charm we all love.
Deeper Battle System — New tactical options and mechanics to challenge and reward strategic play.
Tons of QoL Updates — Based on all the amazing feedback from YOU, our alpha players!
Important Note: Alpha Save Wipe Incoming!
Please note that all save files will be wiped at the end of the alpha demo period as we prepare for the transition to Early Access. Now’s your chance to experiment, explore, and cause a little chaos before the next phase begins.
Thanks again to everyone who’s played, tested, and shared their thoughts! We’re building something special together. Now go forth, collect Nethershards and may your hero live just long enough to make death interesting.
