Hi girls, it’s Miguel!!
Pff, I don’t even know what to say, these past 2 weeks have been PURE MADNESS. Being self-managed independent girl developers is an incredible rollercoaster. Anyway, it’s Monday, and there are less than 72 hours left until the launch of Space Diva, our first video game. It feels like just yesterday we were looking up references from the cartoons we watched when we were little, creating the characters, and working on that first prototype that looked like absolute crap but was OURS. Man, such memories.
The other day, I was talking to a friend who said, "Well, in the end, you’re 'living your dream,'" and I was completely shocked by those words... My dream?? What is this person talking about?? I’m just publishing a game, which is hell. Ladies, I had completely lost sight of why we are here (besides for you all): to make a video game, release it commercially, and have other people play it and feel what we wanted to convey.
We are super proud of what we’ve done with the resources we’ve had available. We are really looking forward to continuing to do this, more and better.
While you wait for Thursday the 28th at 7:00 PM, you can wishlist Space Diva if you haven’t already!!
A stellar hug,
Miguel from RaveT
