Welcome to devlog #7! This is the first update since our Alpha/Beta releases over the last few months! Development is still ongoing at a steady pace, and we'd like to show a couple new characters and announce some new events!
Character Reveal: Phinehas Townsend
The first new character in a while, please give a warm welcome to Phinehas Townsend!

Phinehas has a unique place in the game's cast, having few ties to other characters and looking to already be on his own journey. He accompanies the gang seemingly on a whim, and keeps his conversations light and impersonal. Though, digging into his past reveals a history of violence, hubris, and loss.

Have you ever wanted your magical force to be bulkier? Does Carina keep dying in two hits? Does everyone else keep dying right after that? Phinehas might be able to help. Dedicated to his craft, Phinehas keeps the team alive with a bevy of healing skills! He has the Calming Breath Command, which supplies the ally with delayed healing. Although he brings a staff into battle, Phinehas also performs well on the front lines thanks to his strong physical stats and skills.
We've got more characters to reveal soon! The next build of the game will also bring a greater selection of Pro Mercs! Speaking of which...
Professional Mercenary Reveal: Oric Stall
Here's our first Professional Mercenary reveal for Arc 2! Oric Stall, coming from an unknown land, sporting a menacing suit of armor, is here to vanquish the corrupted.

Oric is a Block Mercenary, meaning that he has a chance to prevent damage. His Passive allows him to reach an even higher assist chance than normal, making Oric a formidable defender. Each time he blocks an attack, his signature Command, Rache, gets stronger. With patience, Oric can cash out for massive damage!

What's Next?

We'll be showing more of Arc 2 soon! There are still a sizable amount of characters, mercenaries, and chapters to show!
Thanks to everyone who played through the Arc 1 Alpha/Beta builds! We've taken note of aspects people have liked or disliked about the game, as well as recognized issues that we'll be fixing before the game's release!
Thank you for your time and support,
