Hello everyone, the new patch is here!
Lots of balance changes this time. Nearly every weapon and damage dealing artifact has been tuned.
I also found and fixed a bug where Armor was actually increasing the damage taken, so runs will probably get a bit easier.
These changes were made based on collected data. I will keep an eye on how they impact the balance and continue tuning in future patches.
-Added tutorial overlays for the consoles in Base. New players will see these on their first visit to learn what each console does. Existing players may see them once as well.
-Added UI animation to the Mecha Experience Bar at the run earnings screen.
-Various combat code optimizations that should help performance in longer sessions.
-Fresh saves now stars from the Hunt isntead of Base.
-Fixed armor increasing damage taken instead of reducing it. Armor now works as intended.
-Fixed weapons (e.g. Arc, Orbiter) not becoming selectable as a starting weapon even after meeting the unlock requirement.
-Fixed Blaster Ricochet bullets sometimes disappearing or flying off in a wrong direction when only a few enemies were left.
-Fixed a memory leak that could cause performance to slowly degrade during long runs, especially with beam-type weapons.
-Fixed Elite's becoming invincible in Kordozosu Threat 5&6
-Offering Screen not popping up correctly should be fixed
-Fixed a bug causing Artifact Slots to not behave properly.
-Fixed the "unkillable player" bug. Dying at the same moment as a boss kill, level-up, or offering no longer cancels the death sequence.
