The last few weeks in the studio have been incredibly intense. The team has been working at full speed to deliver the best possible gameplay experience for you. We focused on key aspects of the game: from stability and world expansion to pure, new gameplay.
Here is a breakdown of what we are currently working on and what you will soon see in Tarvos Desolation!
New Map and Better Exploration 🗺️
The game world is growing. We are proud to announce that we have developed a brand-new map that will offer a fresh, tension-filled environment to explore. Additionally, we took a close look at how you move through the world:
- Passages and shortcuts: We are adding new paths and logical shortcuts between individual levels. Smooth movement and discovering hidden routes will significantly ease navigation and make returning to familiar locations (so-called backtracking) much more enjoyable.
More Life: Interactions and Mini-missions 🎯
We want the environment in Tarvos Desolation to be more than just a backdrop for combat. We care about rewarding your curiosity.
- Interactive elements: The world is becoming more tangible. We are introducing plenty of new objects and mechanics that you will be able to interact with directly.
- Mini-missions: We are enriching the gameplay structure with completely new side quests. They will allow you not only to acquire valuable resources but also to dive deeper into the dark lore of the game world.
Optimization and Gameplay Comfort ⚙️
Even the best content won't work well without proper smoothness, which is why our programmers are working hard under the hood of the project.
- Full game optimization: This is currently one of our highest priorities. We are implementing fixes aimed at increasing framerate and stability so that the game runs smoothly on the widest possible range of hardware.
- Improved controls: We have significantly improved controller performance. Responsiveness, dead zones, and the overall "feel" of the controller have been updated to make combat and movement much more precise and satisfying.
Brand-New Content 📦
In addition to the aforementioned new map, we are regularly adding new content to the game. We don't want to reveal all the details just yet, but you can expect fresh challenges and surprises that will spice up your survival in the world of Tarvos.
