Hi there!
We know it’s been a while since our last update — we disappeared off the radar for a bit, but not without reason. Over the past few months, we’ve been hard at work on Tarvos Desolation, and today we’re finally ready to share the results of that work with you.
This time around, there’s less narrative, but more solid information. We’ve prepared a breakdown of the newest features, models, and improvements we’re working on for upcoming versions of the game. If you’re waiting for fresh news about monsters, gear, and mechanics – this post is for you.
New Monster:
We're planning a new boss – a mutated version of one of the existing creatures. It's still early in development and we're gathering ideas, but we already know it'll be a tough opponent with unique attacks and a dark backstory. We're also thinking about a name – if you have any ideas, feel free to share them on our Discord or any of the social platforms where we're active!

Grenade Launcher:
As part of our ongoing weapon system work, we’ve added a new grenade launcher model to the arsenal. It’s still an early version, but we wanted to share the current look — compact, straightforward, and built for functionality.

Key features:
Compact build: The model appears solid but not excessively heavy — ideal for close-quarters combat and tight spaces.
Top detail: The top part includes a sight or mounting system — small, but enough to give the weapon a tactical look.
Clear segmentation: Three main components stand out: the body, barrel, and rear section. Each has been sculpted separately using different shades of gray, making it easier for players to read its shape during fast-paced gameplay.
Neutral color scheme: The muted tones (graphite, gray, black) suggest a military purpose and fit well with the rest of our gear.

Function in-game:
We’re not revealing full combat details just yet — but this will be a high-impact weapon, designed to deal with groups of enemies and environmental cover. It’ll shine in scenarios where raw firepower matters more than precision.
Exoskeleton:

Key features:
Modular design: Each component of the exoskeleton has been designed to allow for mission-specific customization.
Reinforced limbs: Thick joints and mechanical support systems provide extra strength and durability. This suit is useful in both close combat and heavy lifting scenarios.
Tactical details: Various mounts are visible on the torso, allowing for integration of targeting systems, shields, or extra gear.
Neutral, military color palette: Dark tones dominate — graphite, gray, matte black. The exoskeleton blends in with other equipment and doesn’t stand out in combat zones.
Weapon Handling:

We aimed to enhance immersion through subtle but crucial changes to how the character interacts with weapons. We believe that weapon handling affects not only visual appeal but also how the combat mechanics feel — players should feel the difference between a heavy grenade launcher and a rapid-firing laser rifle.
