The Sound of Slash (SOS) Team is back with an exciting update! This patch includes UI improvements, enhanced hit effects, bug fixes, and adjustments to the scoring system. Check out the details below to enhance your gameplay experience!
🔥 Art Updates
🎨 Combo Number UI Improvement
- The simple number display has been redesigned to better fit the Sound of Slash aesthetic, giving combo numbers a more impactful and dynamic look!
🎨 Fever Mode Combo Multiplier UI Improvement
- We’ve updated the UI to clearly show how the Fever Mode combo multiplier is applied to your existing combo once Fever Mode ends.
🎨 Enhanced Hit Effects
- To create a more action-packed feel, hit effects have been adjusted to appear more accurately at the attack point, making each hit feel more impactful!
🎨 Fixed Chain Note Image Bug
- Fixed a visual misalignment between the monster's position and the starting point of long chain notes.
🎨 Song Cover Images Added
- Music Selection now features cover images for each song, bringing more personality and visual appeal to the track selection screen. 🎼
🛠️ Bug Fixes
🐞 Score Scene Fix
- Fixed an issue where pressing the Enter key would unexpectedly start the counter.
🐞 Music Selection Fix
- Previously, the most recent score was displayed. Now, the highest score for each song is correctly shown.
🐞 Pause Menu Fix
- Fixed a bug where the Pause Menu could be triggered by pressing ESC during the initial countdown or after resuming the game. This issue has been resolved for a smoother experience.
🐞 Character Motion Adjustments
- Minor adjustments have been made to improve character motion.

- The grading system has been adjusted for fairer and more challenging gameplay!
