Wanderers,
The sands shift, the Ley Lines hum and today, we share a message carried far across the cracked lands.
Dunebound Tactics has formed a new partnership with indie.io.
An alliance forged not in the cities of Elios-hoarders, but on the long road beyond their walls.
A world shaped by Elios
Dunebound Tactics was born from a simple question: what happens after prosperity turns to abuse?
When Elios, once a miracle, became a weapon, the world fractured. Cities rose, deserts swallowed the land, and those who refused to submit were hunted into the sands. Development began with the desire to build a tactical game where every battle feels like survival, every decision echoes forward, and knowledge is passed on sometimes only through failure. What keeps us moving is the idea of carving a future from ruin, one caravan at a time.
Why indie.io?
Out on the dunes, you don't survive alone and you don't travel with just anyone. This is also the second time we're working together! We chose indie.io because they understand tactics games and the communities that grow around them. They've worked with a number of strategy and tactics titles before, and that experience mattered to us. Their players value thoughtful systems, hard choices, and stories shaped by consequence exactly the kind of world Dunebound Tactics is building. We believe their community will feel at home walking the Ley Lines with ours.
What this partnership means For those of you who may not know, working with a game publishing platform like indie.io greatly helps indie developers focus on game development while they handle all the behind-the-scenes magic. From helping manage store pages to crafting marketing campaigns and even helping the game shine at both digital and live events, indie.io helps in all the aspects that indie developers often struggle with alone.
This allows us to stay focused on refining combat, factions, encounters, and the harsh logic of the world while making sure Dunebound Tactics reaches more travelers beyond the city walls.
Walk other paths
We encourage you to check out indie.io's Steam Publisher Page and explore other indie games that have survived the journey. There are many good roads out there each with its own dangers.
The road ahead
This is only one milestone along the Ley Lines. More systems, encounters, and revelations lie ahead and we'll be sharing them soon.
