Hey Nauts,
I have been waiting YEARS to say this... Katanaut launches on September 10, 2025.
WOW... what a drop. I can't thank you all enough for all of the support since opening up the Steam page. Your support means the world to me, and I still struggle to put it into words. The release date for Katanaut was officially announced during the Future Games Show at Gamescom, and it was amazing to share that moment live. Check it out here if you're interested!
An in addition, IGN covered the news here:

What’s next
Final polish, bug fixes, and balance so day one feels great. I've been running a beta test through the Katanaut discord, and it's coming to an end. If you're interested in getting an early glimpse of the game please feel free to reach out via discord for a key -- just note that the beta is ending within a week of this post, and so will access to those beta keys!
A few quality of life tweaks based on all of your feedback! As it stands, the common remark I get is that the release build is vastly different from the demo, and I take pride in that :)
Performance and stability passes.
How you can help
Wishlist and follow the store page to help the algorithm. It's simple, but it means the literal world to solo indie developers like myself!
Tell a friend who is into cosmic horror blades and space weirdness!
Keep the feedback coming. I am reading everything. Development will not stop on release, I'll be here, adding more value for your buck!
Thank you for sticking with me through Next Fest, the demo, and all the iterations since. Your support has made the game better. I cannot wait for you to play on September 10, 2025.
Best,
