Hey Everyone!
We’re excited to announce that starting this week, we’ll be posting weekly devlogs to keep you updated on all the progress we’re making with Neighbors! Make sure to follow our Steam page and socials to stay in the loop with all the updates.
Here’s what we’ve been working on this week:
- Clothing & Furniture Shops We’ve added two separate shops: one where you can unlock new clothing options and another where you can get furniture to decorate your house. Now you can customize both your character and your space with even more variety!
- Blending Animations We’ve been working on blending animations for NPCs and the player, making movements feel smoother and more natural.
- NPC Interactions NPCs now have new interactions in the city, giving the world a more dynamic and lively feel. Watch them go about their day as you explore!
- Farm Activities We’ve added some fun new activities to the farm, like chopping wood, with more tasks to come that will bring even more life to your farming experience.
- Arcade in Sierra We’ve begun work on the arcade in Sierra! Our first game is Air Hockey 🏒, and we’ve got plenty more games planned. Play and earn tickets to exchange for special items that are only available through the arcade!
That’s all for this week! Don’t forget to follow our page to keep up with future devlogs and let us know what you think in the comments. Also, join us on Discord where we’ll be sharing more in-depth details about this and answering any questions you have. See you next week! 👋
