Global Event Briefing - General Colosso

Greetings Commanders

Today We are excited to introduce you to our third Global Event. Your target is General Colosso, leader of Apollo’s Armada. Take him out as a community to unlock level 16 of the Abyssal Colosso bounty permanently.

Quick Summary

• Event: January 8th, 15:00 GMT - January 18th 09:00 GMT Community goal: Destroy Colosso, fill the global bar before time runs out, unlock Abyssal Colosso bounty stage permanently!
• Rewards: Colosso exclusive avatar for all contributors, Abyssal avatar for reaching personal milestone and chance at winning a raffle for 100 specialist beacons
• Leaderboards: Top 10 alliances and top 100 players earn prize packages (see table)
• New Gear: Hardened set (2 set bonus) -5% incoming critical Damage
• New Daily Missions: Earn energy cells and points towards your personal and global tally daily

Convinced that the Abyss held the ultimate prize, Colosso abandoned his fleet to chase whispers of ancient Abyssal armaments. His ego led him into the deepest reaches of the rift, where he intended to harvest the void's energy to fuel his own legend. However, the darkness proved far more predatory than he anticipated. Upon claiming a relic of unknown origin, a Grip of Abyssal Virus surged through his frame, melding his physical form with the very shadows he sought to hoard. Now a prisoner of his own ambition, the General exists only as a conduit for the void's hunger. As a Community, you must end his reign of terror to unlock the Abyssal Colosso stage.

Daily Missions, Rewards and Leaderboards

There will be 2 progression tracks active at once:

• Community: Defeat General Colosso Bounty. Each kill earns points for the global bar and your personal tally, the higher the bounty, the more points.
• Personal: Reach the point cap to claim the Abyssal Colosso avatar. The personal track stays open for the duration of the full event, even after the community bar is full.

Compete against foes (or friends) and earn your spot at the top of the player and alliance leaderboards. Checkout prizes details below.

Once the event reaches 100%, the leaderboard will close, so use the opportunity to make your mark on the Frontier. Everyone who participates individually and finishes the individual progress event will also enter a raffle for 100 specialist beacons. The top 100 players will get 2 raffle entries.

Of course, what good would a new bounty be without new gear to work towards? We will also be adding a new Hardened gear set. Check out the details:

That’s all we have to share for now. We look forward to seeing commanders join forces and watching that progress bar climb.
