We’re incredibly happy to announce that our first game, which we’ve been working on for two years, is finally out now! It’s been a long journey developing this game during our free time and weekends, and we’re truly proud of the result.
🕹️ The Mechanics
The game offers around 2 hours of gameplay, during which you’ll be searching for your daughter, collecting items, fighting monsters, and hiding from the Doctor. These mechanics were inspired by Resident Evil 7 and Outlast. We’ve always loved how Silent Hill changes the environment when the antagonist appears, so we wanted to implement a similar feature in our game as well. There’s no weapon that can save you when the Doctor comes for you… (or is there? 👀 You’ll have to find out!)
📖 The Story
Horror games have always been a passion of ours. This project wasn’t made to follow trends but to bring to life a unique story that had been on our minds long before development began. Be sure to collect all the collectibles, they uncover extra details about the main story. If you find a floppy disk collectible, you can read its contents on any desktop PC in the game or the Extras part of the Menu.
🎮 Controller Support
The base game does not yet have controller support or keyboard remapping options. However, if the game performs well, we’ll consider adding these features and possibly finding a publisher to bring the game to consoles.
⚙️ Optimization
We optimized the game for the best performance possible. I consistently achieved 60 FPS on a GTX 1060 at 1080p.
